Role of the Coach Builder

As an experienced coachbuilder you’ll help us meet the increasing demand for these products.

**You must have experience of light commercial vehicle conversions and/or van conversions including experience of window and seat fitting.**

Experience of fitting heaters and other devices would be an advantage but is not essential, as this will be taught. Other skills could include joinery, carpet trimming or general engineering/sheet metalwork.

You should have good hand to eye coordination, be good with hand tools, be a hard-working team player and be able to produce work of a high standard. Good attention to detail and an excellent work ethic are essential.

As one of our Sales Executives you will identify, nurture and grow an account base, this could be generated from new business sales or an existing client portfolio. You will have achievable targets to meet and exceed.

What will you be doing as our Sales Executive?

Speaking with new and existing customers
Winning and developing new business from existing accounts
Quoting customers
Competitor analysis
Being involved in the whole sales cycle

The role is full time (39 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

Location

The role is principally office-based, although visits to prospects’ offices and events may be required. Access to a car and a driving licence are therefore essential. All travel expenses will be paid in accordance with HMRC guidelines (i.e. all business-related travel expenses will be reimbursed, but travel to and from home to the office cannot be paid).

Our premises are located in Knypersley, Stoke-on-Trent and will be ideal for candidates located in Congleton, Biddulph, Chell, Brown Edge, Endon, Tunstall, Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.

Role of the Panel Beater:

Stripping and refitting vehicle components
The repair and replacement
Ensuring that all work carried out meets acceptable safety & quality standards
Keeping all work areas clean and tidy, free from hazards and compliant with current H&S legislation
Accurately reporting all components, materials and consumables used
Supporting the Body Shop supervisor to help ensure that the workshop runs efficiently and that all deadlines are met
Other duties and responsibilities as required

Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 5 years experience working with a bodyshop/accident repair centre as a panel beater
ATA or NVQ Qualified or qualified through time served
Familiar with the requirements of BS10125 (Desirable but not essential)
